Tabor House, a 24/7 accommodation project for Birmingham's homeless, are looking for Hospitality Volunteers.

We offer support for a period of several months whilst our guests find work and accommodation.

Volunteers are at the heart of Tabor House and have helped change the lives of homeless individuals since we opened in September 2017.

We urgently require hospitality volunteers to help on the following weekend shifts:
Morning 8am-1pm
Afternoon 1pm-6pm
Evenings 6pm-10pm
Overnight 10pm-8am

What our volunteers say:

"My role covers hospitality and I volunteer usually on a Monday evening shift – this involves preparing and cooking meals for the guests, chatting to them and general jobs to keep everywhere clean and tidy. The most rewarding part of the role for me is meeting new people. Don’t be afraid to try it and see what you think….it is a very rewarding!"

"There is a good feeling when you see people moving on and their lives changing.
It is nice to feel appreciated by the guests too"
