Simmer Down Festival 2022 volunteers wanted

The Festival organisers are looking for around 100 volunteers for this year's Simmer Down Festival 2022 on the 17th July 2022.

Are you a vibrant, energetic, love music and community? Why don't you get involved with being a Simmer Down Festival Volunteer!

Being a part of the team, you can perform any number of tasks at the festival alongside the training that we will provide (more information to follow).

Responsibilities to name a few:

Entry gates
Concession stands
Information stands
Car park attendants
Backstage and more.

If you work the following hours:

4 hours: FREE ENTRY to Simmer Down with parking and Festival certificate of appreciation WORTH £20.00
6 hours: FREE ENTRY to Simmer Down with parking, food voucher, light refreshments, Festival certificate of appreciation WORTH £30.00
8 hours: FREE ENTRY to Simmer Down with parking, food voucher, light refreshments, Festival certificate of appreciation and Limited Edition Simmer Down 2022 T-shirt WORTH £45.00

Get involved with our 2022 Volunteer Conference This October around 80 volunteers from Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) will meet at Conference Aston Birmingham to discuss issues that matter to them. The conference will take place on Friday 7th - Sunday 9th October Birmingham. TPT has several volunteer programs which provide a forum for blind and partially sighted people to have a voice on matters important to them and their communities.
Kings Norton Walk & Cycle Trail Volunteers

Join us in Celebrating Birmingham's Commonwealth Games 2022. There will lots of fun activities for you to choose from- including guided walking and cycling routes along the 'River Rea Heritage Trail', arts, gardening, exercise, smoothie making, and plenty of opportunities for socialising. This project is a brilliant way to get to know the history of Northfield and Kings Norton, have fun while exercising and make new friends!
Baby Aid Birmingham Trustees Callout

Baby Aid Birmingham (BAB) is recruiting a board of trustees to advise BAB generally, but also support the directors. BAB is also recruiting an advisory board. They will also advise generally but mainly on specific issues as and when we encounter them. Both boards have the common purpose / mission of helping BAB to provide the best possible service and to achieve long term stability, but the trustees hold a more formal position with voting powers.

Birmingham Holiday Activities and Food Grant Programme 2021
