Scheme manager who will be responsible for the well-being of almshouse residents aged 55+ at the James Memorial Homes in Nechells.

Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £26,388 per annum

The James Charities provides people aged 55+ with the opportunity to live independently in its 31 almshouses situated in Nechells, Birmingham.

We have a vacancy for a scheme manager who will be responsible to the CEO for the well-being of all residents. The successful candidate will be a clear-thinking person who can remain calm in an emergency and be sympathetic towards the needs of older people. The appointee will be helpful, fit and able to assist residents when required. They will manage, on a day-to-day basis, an independent living scheme for older people and facilitate arrangements for professional workers and other visitors on site, including maintenance workers, gardeners, cleaners and home carers.

Appointment to this post will be subject to an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
