Runnymede Unbound is a new, paid training and development scheme. It is a rare and exciting opportunity open to people of every adult age, from every background and walk of life, who are passionate about the task of change which will bring about racial justice in the UK.

The Runnymede Trust is the UK’s leading race equality think tank. We were founded in 1968 to ‘nail the lie’ on racism, providing evidence for policymakers and the wider public so that racial inequalities are better tackled in Britain. Over the years we have had many achievements and successes. Join us in our mission by taking part in this 11-month programme, developing your skills, knowledge and experience in policy, communications, operations, partnerships and research.

You are not required to have a degree, nor to come from any particular class or ethnic background. You may be thinking of a career change, you may be returning to the labour market after a long absence, or, you may indeed be a graduate. You will need to be passionate about Runnymede’s work and be able to work with a high degree of flexibility, responsibility and autonomy. You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to work remotely if needed.

We can accept applications from anywhere in the UK.

The programme will pay you the London Living Wage or National Living Wage, which ever applies, and you need to be free to start as soon as possible from beginning February 2021.

This is a full time position, meaning 35 hours per week, but we are open to those who want to job share, on a pro rata basis.
