Sue Ryder are one of the largest charity retailers in the UK with over 400 shops. Every item sold in our shops generates funding so we can continue to provide 2.7 million hours of expert medical, practical and emotional support every year, in our hospices and neurological centres, in people's homes and in the community. We have a much-loved presence on high streets across the country.

Whether you are looking to meet new friends, learn new skills or give something back, we have a selection of volunteer roles across our 400+ retail stores.

From sorting donated stock, working on the till to more specific roles, such as a social media champion, you’ll have the opportunity to feel connected and enhance your CV while helping the charity to achieve our ambition to provide more expert care for more people.

If you are looking to take on extra responsibility, we have fantastic Lead Volunteer opportunities nationwide. Receive an enhanced level of training in store and via e-learning to boost your skills and confidence to support the day to day running of the shop in the absence of the management team.
