The Office of the Public Guardian is carrying out ongoing research to improve the experience of our customers when completing and registering a Lasting Power Attorney (LPA). These forms will be for people to use in future if they still choose to make an LPA using paper. As part of this work, we are looking for people to take part in research interviews in Birmingham, lasting approximately a maximum of 2 hours.

We are looking for people who are can act as an Attorney and are
· over 18
· not bankrupt
· not subject to a debt relief order
· not be on the disclosure barring service list ( if you are getting paid to act as an attorney)

The research would involve attending our Birmingham office at the beginning of September 2023 and travel would be paid for. During the session you will be asked to complete the look through/complete the following documents:
Attorney Form
Attorney regulation letter
Attorney guidance
and share your thoughts with us. You do not need any prior experience to take part. As a thank you for taking part in the research we would also provide participants with £40 of shopping vouchers in the weeks following the interview.

The research will take place from Monday 11 September – Friday 22nd September.
