Looking for sessional project support workers and bank staff. Roles are flexible and would suit individual's looking to supplement their income or just to do a few hours as an when required.

Project Support Worker
Job Type: Sessional / Bank Staff. Flexible working hours between 8.30 am - 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities
Administration & support work:
• To ensure that adequate records are kept for all service users
• To ensure that Health and Safety records are kept up to date
• To monitor and evaluate services via various methods including feedback from service users and by producing statistical information
• To contribute where appropriate to the preparation of returns for funders
• To identify and make links with existing projects and community services and to develop joint services where appropriate
• To help organise activities and celebrations which recognise achievement, raise self-esteem, bring people together and broaden awareness
• To keep the Centre’s ‘monthly calendar’ of activities up to date
Communication:
• To take referrals and welcome service users to the Centre.
• To ensure that all staff team members are aware of any matters that are relevant to the welfare and security of the refuge, staff, volunteers, and service users by:
• Maintaining communication records
• Following safety procedures
• Carrying out risk assessments in conjunction with your line manager
• attending team meetings
• To attend in-house training
• To attend support and supervision sessions with your line manager
• To participate in multi-agency work and to develop a professional working relationship with external agencies

General:
• To maintain the confidentiality of service users utilising the service and, in all matters, relating to the organisation

• To work within New Hope Global policies and procedures and demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of New Hope Global
• To work within New Hope Global and adult safeguarding procedures

• To undertake any other duties required by New Hope Global which may arise and commensurate with the post.
