As Project Manager you will be drive for all aspects of this ambitious initiative on a day-to-day basis. Responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of the project to ensure the objectives are clearly defined and performance achieved to agreed time, cost and quality standards. This includes managing the relationship with the sub-contracted delivery partner, Compass Support, and ensuring that agreed outcomes are achieved and reported by the partner in line with requirements.

• Develop, manage and lead the project to deliver all agreed outputs within time, cost and quality constraints.
• Build, implement and monitor the project plan, meeting key milestones, targets and reporting deadlines agreed with the funder, internally and delivery partners.
• Ensure project monitoring and reporting requirements by the funder and other stakeholders is achieved.
• Ensure delivery expectations and targets are clearly communicated to project ream team members with robust monitoring to ensure deliverables are achieved.
• Day-to-day management and leadership of project team members, to ensure the effective implementation of projects and services, working effectively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders as required.
• Develop and monitor a project risk register to ensure underperformance issues are swiftly identified and mitigation measures implemented.
• Work with the project board/steering group to ensure stakeholders are involved in the project.
• Manage project finances; tracking project delivery against the budget and taking corrective action where necessary.
• Securing external funding to complement and enhance existing provision and ensure continuation beyond the end of the current funded timescales.
• Ensure the cessation and succession of externally funded projects /contracted provision is effectively managed and supporting colleagues using the Association’s HR processes.
• Attend Board meetings to present progress, deputise for senior colleagues, as required by the CO.
• Lead, inspire and manage the team, in line with the Associations’ values, policies and processes, so that they are motivated, flexible and collaborative in their approach, and are developing professionally.
• Show commitment to personal development and development within the delivery team.
• Support wider Association work and carry out any other tasks which may be reasonably regarded as falling within the work requirements of the role.
