OSCAR Birmingham (Organisation for Sickle Cell Anaemia Relief and Thalassaemia Support) is a registered charity based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Our mission is helping to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell Anaemia and Thalassaemia including co-morbidity.

Summary of Role

Are you passionate about supporting isolated, vulnerable adults and senior citizens? We are looking for self-motivated individual to work on our established Befriending and Peer Support Service.

You will have a caring nature to support adults who may be experiencing loneliness and have become socially isolated due to the individual levels of vulnerability and fluctuation of their condition.

Hours: Sessional/Casual Hours (Flexible)

Salary: £9.50 per hour
