Operations Support Manager £24,000 - £28,000 36 months fixed term contract

Bringing Hope is a Christian charitable organisation working to support the transformation and reformation of individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system. We work with those whose behaviors and attitudes are considered a ‘challenge’, to themselves and the wider community.

To be successful in your application for the position of Operations Support Manager, ideally you will possess the following:


Key roles and responsibilities include:
• Working as part of the team to deliver on operational processes and matters relating to the delivery of programmes and activities for the charity.
• Providing insights, reflections and support relating to the office/financial reporting and management for the organisation.
• Manage, log/information systems, and produce invoices
• To support the Strategic Development Manager, Executive Directors, and other staff in delivering the administrative and operational function for Bringing Hope.
• To develop and maintain an ethos that supports activities and programmes that enables the organisation’s philosophy, mission, and vision to be realised.
• To assist Bringing Hope and its Board in the overall management and development of its aims, activities,and programmes.
• Act as a custodian of organisational standards for the organisation.
• Working and interacting with partner orgnisations relating to operational processes and reporting systems.
• Attending key meetings relating to the reporting for the activities and programmes of the organisation.
• Ensuring that notes/minutes are available for relevant meetings associated the operational functions of the organisation.
• Developing systems to enhance the reporting of the organisation’s activities and outcomes.
• Deliver day- to-day organisational operational support as requested to support the evidence-based ethos of the organisation.
Essential:

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Capacity and ability to interact and work with all levels of staff and partner organisations, also being able to meet organisational deadlines.

Ability and skills to lead on the operational functions and change processes for the organisation, towards establish sustainable/lasting change.

Ability to work in a non-discriminatory and non-judgemental way with our team, offenders, ex-offenders, families and partners.

Capacity and ability to represent the organisation in key meetings regarding its operational functions.
