Summit House Support in Dudley are Recruiting Trustees

Summit House is a registered charity which has been operating in Dudley and Sandwell since 1992. We have an excellent reputation for delivering customer focused interventions; our mission is to empower the people we support to set their own goals and vision, realise their full potential and live free from discrimination.

At Summit we work with a number of diverse communities supporting people in recovery from substance misuse, people living with HIV and the LGBTQI communities. All of the people we support suffer multiple disadvantages, many come from the most deprived communities and often face discrimination and social exclusion in their day to day lives.

In 2015 we purchased our own fantastic building in the centre of Dudley, to give the charity resilience and the ability to grow and generate unrestricted income to support the local community.

We are currently recruiting Trustees to support us at this exciting time.

We currently hold Trustee meetings approximately six times per year (bi-monthly) at our office in central Dudley, reasonable expenses will be covered. Other events and meetings which would benefit from Trustee attendance come up throughout the year, but are entirely down to Trustee availability.

We are particularly interested in hearing from potential Trustees with expertise in:

Governance
Corporate Sponsorship
Business Development
Human Resources
Marketing, Branding and Communications
