Safeguarding workshops added to BVSC's regular training programme
In response to members’ feedback, BVSC has added two Safeguarding workshops to its Spring/Summer training programme: Safeguarding Adults at risk; and Safeguarding Children at Risk. The workshops are specifically aimed at Managers and Leads of organisations.
The workshops will be very comprehensive and highly interactive, ensuring that managers and designated leads/officers understand, and are able to fulfil, their requirements and responsibilities regarding safeguarding adults or children at risk within their organisations.
Helen Cobain who coordinates BVSC’s Training activity said “For some time our members have been telling us that there is a need for Safeguarding training, specifically for organisational leads, so we have partnered with Sociability Care CIC to run these two sessions. We have only committed to two sessions for now, but if they are popular we hope to run them more regularly.”
