Organisations from 5 different countries gather for the next transnational activity in Porto

The third meeting of the Levol-App project will take place in Porto, Portugal in February, kicking off the volunteer management training of the project’s partner representatives.

The third transnational activity of the project will bring together representatives from all of the project’s partner organisations. The event will take place between the 18th and the 22nd of February, in Porto (Portugal), with the purpose of training Levol-app’s future coaches in the field of volunteer management.

The 28-month transnational project is coordinated by Pista Mágica – Escola de Voluntariado (Portugal) with the support of Neo Sapiens (Spain), Associazione di Promozione Sociale Futuro Digitale (Italy), Platforma dobrovolnickych centiera organizacii (PDCO) (Slovakia) and the Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) (United Kingdom), the initiative aims to promote teamwork and exchange of good practices regarding the training of those responsible for the creation and coordination of volunteer management programs (at local or international levels).

This activity is one of the many essential steps towards Levol-app’s main goal, of creating an online platform that can help all NGOs on improving the competencies and professional skills of their volunteer managers and better engaging their volunteers as active citizens.

To learn more about the project’s development and get to know more about volunteer coordination and management, Levol-app’s activities can be followed online, via its website here and Facebook page here.

“Levol-app” is a 28-month strategic partnership funded by the Erasmus+ programme, under its Key Action 2 for the development of VET, that aims to gather organisations from different contexts but working on the development of programmes to train volunteer organisations and managers.
