Have you, or someone you care for, contacted a Patient and Liaison Service (PALS) or Customer Service department at one of Birmingham's NHS hospital and community trusts?
If so, Healthwatch Birmingham would like to hear your experience. Healthwatch Birmingham is your independent champion for health and social care services. We are here to listen to people’s experiences of local services and to share them with those with the power to make change happen. Your response will help improve your experience of contacting PALS or Customer services in Birmingham.

PALS or Customer service departments were established in April 2002 as one of the tools for supporting patient and public involvement. Providing information and on the spot help for patients, their families and carers. PALS or Customer Services departments were established to be a powerful lever for change and improvement.
Healthwatch Birmingham is independent of NHS and social care services in the city. We provide patients and the public with ways to feedback and have a stronger say about the services they use. We have the power to ensure that those organisations that design, run or regulate NHS and social care listen to people’s views and act on them.
