GBSLEP Habitats Grant Programme - Funding Opportunity

Are you a project based in Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Wyre Forest, Redditch, Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth and East Staffordshire?

Is your organisation a charity, statutory organisation, community or voluntary organisation, Parish or Town Council, Business or School – if the land is open to the public all year round

Do you want to improve the natural habitat?

Do you have 60 % (or greater) in other funding that you can put towards this project?

If you answered ‘yes’ to the above questions,  you may be eligible to apply  for the GBSLEP  Habitats Grants

The GBSLEP Habitats Grants Programme is still open for applications! This is an on-going rolling call – so we will be open for applications until funding is spent. The fund will close every two months (end of May and then July 2020) with applications reviewed the following month.

Greening the Grey – Small Grants Project has just been approved for a new end date of December 2022. Therefore giving your small grants projects more time to be delivered.

The Programme is focused on reducing dereliction and the improvement and development of natural habitats on land in public ownership or with agreed public access and is suitable for innovative projects which improve land, water, air quality and the general environment for people and wildlife.

Please circulate to all organisations within the GBSLEP who you think might want to apply.

Projects must be based in Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Wyre Forest, Redditch, Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth and East Staffordshire.

Please note that there is no minimum hectares for applying to the fund.

Grants are for between £20,000 and £200,000.
