Birmingham City Council has launched its public consultation on budget proposals for 2019/20. The consultation will run until the 31 December.

In a public letter Birmingham City Council Chief Executive, Dawn Baxendale, says "it does continue to be a challenging financial time for all public services and we know the decisions laid out in this document will affect many of our citizens, which is why it is so important for us to hear from them and you. As a consequence of last year’s consultation we amended a number of the proposals, and we will again listen to what is said".
