The Kickstart Project Administrator will assist Clouds End CIC by providing administrative support, helping to deliver support to people who have hoarding behaviours and issues around hoarding.

Clouds End CIC is the first social enterprise in the UK to work with people who hoard. Established in 2009, Clouds End CIC have been training local authorities and housing providers in understanding how to work with their tenants/citizens. Clouds End CIC support groups and seek to raise awareness around hoarding behaviour and provide solutions through education to anyone who has a hoarding issue or comes across it in their work. Clouds End CIC developed an offering called Supportive Intervention as a template to help agencies work together and in 2019, Birmingham City Council funded a 2 year project to work with 100 people who hoard across the city. Having successfully reached 200 people, funding for a further 2 years has been secured to deliver a project called Chaos to Order.

Clouds End CIC are looking for a young person aged between 16 - 24yrs claiming Universal Credit to fill a Kickstart position. You will be responsible for responding to email queries, updating and maintain spreadsheets, creating content and uploading to social media, assisting with preparation for training sessions, assisting with phone queries as and when required, booking in skips, clearances and cleans when needed, keeping reports up to date with latest achievements and interviews, scanning in receipts for accounts and quarterly returns.

You will also receive Employability Training as part of our commitment to the Kickstart scheme, helping young people secure long term employment.

The person appointed will be employed by Birmingham Voluntary Services (BVSC) and seconded to Clouds End CIC in Solihull for the duration of their placement. The post is fixed term for 6 months.
