The Kickstart Communications Assistant and Administrator will help deliver the communications strategy for BCFT and support the communication needs of the programme.

Birmingham Changing Futures Together are looking for a young person aged between 16 - 24 who is currently claiming Universal Credit to fill a Kickstart opportunity within their team.

The role will involve helping to put together existing communications such as regular newsletters and other printed media and creating and uploading content for social media including text, photographs, and videos. You will also be required to explore other communications options that BCFT are yet to exploit to assist in reaching a wider audience.

There will also be the opportunity to report on issues and stories of interest in the local area including interviewing staff about their views or experiences to be included in the comms outputs.

You will also receive Employability Training as part of our commitment to the Kickstart scheme, helping young people secure long term employment.

The person appointed will be employed by BVSC Kickstart.

The post is fixed term for 6 months and will be office and homebased.
