Our IAG services offers support and guidance to people living with sight loss and disabilities, their carers, family and friends. We are looking for volunteers who have a passion for supporting and empowering people through the knowledge IAG services can give.

- Connecting with other organisations
- Helping individuals understanding their condition
- Supporting families, carers and IAG staff to help deliver Living Well with Sight Loss course
- Accessing support and using Focus Birmingham's range of services
- Supporting IAG staff
- Help with form filling
- Supporting signposting to professionals

Desirable skills and experience
- A commitment to the aims and values of Focus Birmingham
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to uphold confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- The ability to confidently use a computer
- The ability to research, interpret and convey information to users of the service
- training will be given but an interest in keeping up to date with what is happening in the sight loss community
and associated services
- Flexibility and reliability

- Focus Birmingham Core Training
- Any additional training to enable you to undertake the role will be discussed
