The telephone helpline and online web chat services provide essential support to survivors and supporters. The helpline & webchat are operated by fully trained volunteers who work a weekly 3-hour shift and we ask that all volunteers commit for at least 6 months. The helpline & webchat is open 7 days a week.

Helpline & Webchat recruitment takes place twice a year, with full training provided. The training consists of five days over 5 weeks.

Space are still available on our September training to become a Helpline & Webchat Volunteer at RSVP, providing essential support to survivors of sexual abuse and violence.

Our next scheduled training dates are:

Monday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th September and 4th October. Training will be online and the days run from 10 am-4 pm. All five training days need to be attended.

Recruitment has begun for the September training.
