BVSC’s Health Directorate (Health and Social Care Business Unit) exists to create and deliver inclusive, effective programmes working in partnership with the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector and the local health and care system, that supports and empowers organisations and citizens and to make a difference in Birmingham (and surrounding areas).

Do you have a proven track record in working with partners and key stakeholders to achieve organisational and project objectives?

Do you dare to be different by challenging traditional boundaries of work and by taking managed risks?

We are looking for a Health and Social Care Network Development Worker to develop partnerships between the VCSE sector and statutory sector, supporting effective collaboration.

The successful candidate will have the ability to foster sustainable cross-sector networks within the workstreams and to enable the voice of the sector and citizens to have meaningful impact.

The post holder should have experience in working within a culture of continuous improvement and implementing and maintaining a quality assurance process.

We are looking for candidates who can work collaboratively and are able to network effectively across sectors, develop partnerships and represent BVSC at appropriate external stakeholder meetings and events.

The successful candidate should have strong communication skills and have strong attention to detail in the production of reports and paperwork.  

The post holder should have a proven track record of financial administration including monitoring expenditure, producing variance reports, and working towards financial targets
