Birmingham Settlement is looking to appoint to the new role of Fundraising & Communications Manager to help us generate the income we need to continue to deliver the safe, high-quality services our people want and expect.

This is a lovely opportunity for the right person to join us at an exciting time as we continue to develop new assets and services including the renewal of a 3-acre playing field by Edgbaston Reservoir, the refurb of a large community centre in Kingstanding, and the ongoing development of our training and learning services along with our accredited money advice and other core activities.

To succeed, you will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent leadership qualities including ability to motivate and inspire to get the best out of people as well as an understanding of the issues the Settlement strives to challenge. As part of Birmingham Settlement’s leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting the sustainability of the Settlement and the development and implementation of our longer-term strategic plans. This will be a very busy but rewarding hands on role that cuts across all aspects of the charity as we continue to grow and develop.
