Support to access social finance
Together with our partner Traverse, we have secured resources from the Connect Fund (Supported by Barrow Cadbury Fund) to offer support to organisations who are considering accessing social finance to support their social impact activities. We are working together to raise awareness of social finance and will be running regular workshops which are free to attend. Please get in touch with Jasbir Rai if you have any queries relating to social finance (Tel: 0121 678 8802 / Email: JasbirR[at]bvsc[dot]org). Oherwise, keep an eye on our Weekly e-bulletin where we will announce details of forthcoming workshops and activities.
Funding for diversionary activities (Gangs & Violence)
We are funded through the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for the West Midlands (PCC) to support the voluntary and community sector to access funding streams that address the issues around gangs and violence. If your organisation would like to bid for PCC funding to deliver activities for young people in one of Birmingham’s target areas: Aston; Alum Rock; Bordesley; Erdington; Winson Green; Ladywood; Small Heath; Northfield; and Handsworth get in touch.
