Free coaching conversation programme for individuals in charities and non-profits Congratulations! You have the opportunity to take part in the CAPE Coaching Conversation programme to support you in your career development. The programme consists of four informal coaching conversations provided by CAPE volunteers and will take place across three - four months. Coaching conversations aren’t about people telling you what you should do…They are a supportive conversation to provide focused thinking space to explore your career and personal development. CAPE volunteers are not accredited coaches. They are managers working across different organisations who have been part of a programme to develop their coaching conversation skills to support people in their teams. As part of their training, they also get to coach people from outside their business… you! They will help you identify some career and personal development goals and will provide a safe, confidential and supportive space for you to work on these together. They are great listeners and are very friendly. By taking part in the conversations, you will be able to confidently move forward with your development and career. Here are some examples of focus areas for the coaching conversations:- How to develop skills and strengths- How to build more effective relationships at work- How to manage people- How to have more confidence- How to be a better presenter- How to have influence or make decisions- How to get a promotion or new role- Working effectively with your manager and/or teamIn your first session you will complete a pre coaching impact form to capture how you’ll work together and the outcomes you’d like to achieve.
