This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in this newly created role supporting our CEO and project leads in all aspects of the finance function of the organisation. Hours: 22.5 hours per week, working Monday to FridaySalary: £30,586 – £34,000 FTE (£18,600 – £20,675 pro-rata salary) depending on experience and qualificationsPlace of work: Hybrid, flexible working in agreement with CEO and in line with business needsAbout usCASBA is an advocacy charity in the south Birmingham area. We empower people with disabilities to speak up for themselves or advocate on their behalf when needed.What we are looking forIn this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function of the organisation.Using your financial expertise, you will support the CEO and project leads to deliver a sustainable funding pipeline, supporting with budgets, forecasting and developing funding applications.You should be familiar with preparing draft annual accounts, managing the day-to-day book-keeping, processing invoices, and writing financial management reports.You will also be required to manage our payroll ensuring that staff and the HMRC are paid on time and any such schemes, supplementary payments or deductions as may be required are administered correctly.About the person You will have:- excellent attention to detail- strong written and verbal communication skills- ability to adapt communication depending on the needs of the person- excellent IT skills with advanced Excel skills and ability to use and learn various online databases- experience of financial administration- It is desirable that you have experience in finance and of charity fundraising in a similar role.Why usThis is an exciting time to be joining CASBA, we have an ambitious five-year strategic plan due for publication shortly, we will move to fully accessible offices in the Autumn, we have just rebranded and have many exciting projects and partnerships on the horizon.Citizens are at the heart of our work and CASBA is making an amazing impact in our local community.
