Strategic Thinking for Charities
With increasing pressures on time and resources, it’s more important than ever for charities to be clear about what they are trying to change, and how they are going to do this. A clear strategic plan will keep you focussed on the work that really makes an impact, allowing you to say no to activities that fall outside of this, and making it much more likely that you will be successful in securing funding.
This one day course serves as an introduction to strategic planning and is particularly suitable for charities and third sector organisations. It will introduce you to a range of techniques and tools that allow you to think strategically about the work you are doing, ensure you are still on track and plan effectively for more in-depth strategy reviews.
This course covers
- How to think strategically with your team
- How to integrate your strategy into your everyday thinking
- How to stay on track - tools and questions for reviewing progress
- How to prepare for a more in-depth strategic review and knowing when it's needed
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone who wants to increase their charities effectiveness by working and thinking more strategically - CEOs, managers, team leaders, chairs of trustees.
