Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter Networking: Secrets of Bid-Writing
Happy new year to all our members and supporters!
On the 4th February we will be hosting our first Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter networking meeting for the year. We are going to be running a secrets to bid-writing seminar to kick off the Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter's activities for the year.
Many social enterprises rely on bid writing in order to access grant funding opportunities, contracting opportunities and to access frameworks to register for opportunities. As such bid writing is an essential and core skill for all social enterprises, but also charities, co-operatives and other VCSE organisations. This session can be helpful for new social enterprises just starting out or as a refresher for more developed social enterprises who may need new staff training or retraining for more experienced staff who want to catch up.
Join DSEQ coordinator Paul Barnes and iSE's Director of Business Development, Simon Veasey to learn more about the tips and tricks for successful bid writing from a small bid to fund a community project, to a large contract with statutory authority or as part of a national call. There is something here for everyone to learn.
As always we will provide breakfast and refreshments, so come along, meet some of your fellow social entrepreneurs and bring a pitch for what you would like to get from our network.
