Day Opportunities proposed Strategy and Draft Service Model Consultation.

Birmingham City Council is consulting on the draft Adult Social Care Day Opportunities Strategy and the draft Day Service Model, which is outlined in the draft Day Opportunities Strategy. The consultation will run for a 90 day period from 8th April 2019 to 6th July 2019.

The draft Day Opportunities Strategy is aligned to the overarching Adult Social Care Strategy and Vision approved by the Council in 2017. While the 2017 document refers to the need for “change” generally, this does not necessarily apply to the provision of day opportunities. The draft Day Opportunities Strategy and draft Day Service Model are proposals to be consulted on.
