This full day of interactive learning covers the key skills that any employee needs in order to reach their full potential within an organisation. It is aimed at all charity-based staff and includes a free 45 minute individual coaching session with the trainer via the telephone.
- Time Management: Handling the "time stealers" and creating space to work on priorities
- Communication skills: Exploring how to increase persuasiveness in all forms ofcommunication as well as avoiding email blunders
- Workplace assertiveness: Tips and advice to handle awkward situations with yourcolleagues and your manager.
These subjects build on your own experience, combined with the trainer's 30 years plus of management within the third sector, to provide a complete session for any staff member looking to be the best they can at work.
Who is it suitable for?
This course is suitable for employees who are not yet managing people, but who want to develop their skills to prepare themselves for the next step. It is also suitable for anyone looking for a refresher.
The trainer is Rob Legge who is a successful independent leadership trainer and coach. Previously he was a Director at Sense, Leonard Cheshire, RNIB and Oxfam as well as enjoying ten years as CEO of Focus Birmingham.
