Achieving better outcomes together for the people of Ladywood and Perry Barr

Andy Williams, Accountable Officer for Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group, and Toby Lewis, Chief Executive of Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Hospital Trust, would like to invite representatives of local voluntary, community and faith-based sector organisations to meet with them to talk through with you their vision for an integrated care system for Sandwell and Western Birmingham.  The shared intention is that the future will be different to the present, and our shared vision by 2030 is that outcomes locally for patients are significantly better than they are today.

To achieve this we want to be able to work towards multi-year contracts, placed-based capitated budgets which lead to better health outcomes for local people. We recognise the voluntary, community and faith-based sector play a huge role in the lives of local people, and it is important that in any system the sector are seen to be an integral part of the local integrated care system.

At this session there will be an opportunity to hear from Andy Williams around the future role commissioning will have in an integrated care system, and from Toby about the development of an Integrated Care Provider Alliance.

We would love the opportunity to talk to you about our ambition and aspiration for the area, but it is equally important to listen to you, representatives from the sector.

Places are limited, so if you are interested in attending please contact Linda Martin on 0121 612 1447 or email Linda: linda.martin15[at]nhs[dot]net
