Birmingham Race Impact Group (BRIG), BVSC and partner organisations from across the VCFSE, public and private sectors are working collectively to tackle racial inequality across the City, and invite you to get involved.

On 25 May 2022 a Birmingham Race Impact Summit took place, at which Amrick Singh Ubhi, BVSC Vice Chair and Nishkam Civic Association Director, spoke about race equality in the VCFSE sector and the need for action on this.

We are planning to hold a VCFSE MRIS event and would welcome your involvement in planning for the event, overseeing the development of a position paper which we have drafted, and VCFSE actions contributing to a 10-Year City wide action plan.

Please click here to register to attend the VCFSE MRIS Steering Group meeting and for a link to join. Please contact Elizabeth Goodchild, Strategic Partnership Manager at BVSC at [email protected] if you have any further questions, if you would like to give apologies, or if you don’t automatically receive the link when you register. If you can’t make the meeting, we would still love for you to be involved!
