Research Better Together 2023 Webinar Calling all Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations working to support people and improve their wellbeing… Do you have an interest in co-production? Is there a topic you and/or your service users want to explore, or do you want to develop knowledge and understanding around a particular issue? Do you want to access training and financial support to undertake this work? The University of Birmingham is working with BVSC Research, Co-production Works and Communicate2U to deliver a new, fully funded programme, ‘Research Better Together 2023’. The programme will support VCFSEs to connect and co-produce research with academic partners, providing: Networking opportunities to support the development of research partnerships. Training in co-production and participatory/creative research methods. Mentoring and support to develop research-based collaborations, produce research proposals, and apply for funding. Small grants to support the inclusion of people with lived experience in co-production activity. We warmly invite you to hear more about the programme during a webinar which will: Discuss findings from research undertaken by Jenny Harlock (University of Warwick) and Sophie Wilson (BVSC Research) ‘Valuing the role of the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector in social care research’. Provide further information about the Research Better Together 2023 programme and how you can be involved. The webinar is taking place on Thursday 20th April, 12noon-1pm.
