Charity Meetup - Unlocking Potential through Mentorship

Charity Meetup is a skill-sharing and facilitated networking event for the third sector. It is fun and welcoming but bursting with tips and takeaways. You will be able to learn from speakers and foster connections to give and get support. We meet virtually every 2nd Tuesday of each month and hold quarterly online seminars and in-person events. A limited number of free tickets are available to charities (NFPs, CICs etc.) and volunteers for our monthly virtual events.

Everyone supporting the sector is welcome to Charity Meetup. This event will be especially beneficial to anyone who would like to become a mentor to help others and those seeking support from a mentor.

The University of Birmingham, along with the University of Bristol, University of Manchester, and Opening Doors, are doing a study on older LGBTQ+ adult social care assessments. We are currently looking for people to participate in our project and take part in an interview. If you are an LGBTQ+ individual over the age or 60, or if you are a carer providing care for an older LGBTQ+ person, we would like to talk to you.
