The Call for Change

Following the death of George Floyd, the Black Lives Matter protest in Centenary Square on 4 June 2020, and the murders in Birmingham City Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, organisations across Birmingham City are renewing the call for rapid change in the delivery of racial equality.

Birmingham Race Impact Group (BRIG), BVSC and partner organisations from across the Voluntary, Community, Faith, Social Enterprise (VCFSE), public and private sectors are working collectively to tackle racial inequality across the City and invite you to get involved.

The Voluntary, Community, Faith & Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector invite you to join our Mini Race Impact Summit on Monday 5 December 2022, 9.30am – 12 noon.

This is an online event, where you will have the opportunity to hear from a number of speakers on race equality issues within the Birmingham VCFSE sector and support development of a 10-year action plan to address these issues.
