Equity and Diversity Training

This 12-hour CPD accredited Equity and Diversity course is aimed at people working within assets in the Perry Barr District The training takes place on: Friday's 6th, 13th and 20th October 2023 From: 10am to 2.30pm.

This CPD accredited training will cover:

Community cohesion
Employer and employee duties in
relation to Equality and Diversity
How helping others enhances
relationships
Emotional health and wellbeing
Values, attitudes and behaviour
Biases and prejudice

People with a learning disability or additional needs are often isolated and excluded from mainstream leisure and social activities. We believe that EVERYONE has the right to have fun and feel safe. Our organised multi-sport activities give people with additional needs the chance to make friends, enjoy social time together and try out a variety of healthy sports. We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers for our busy and chatty groups in Weoley Castle.
