The education team: teach CYF students how to code in HTML, CSS, Javascript including React, Node, SQL and MongoDB. As a volunteer you will coordinate and teach classes, organize code review and track trainee performance.

CodeYourFuture (CYF) is a UK based non-profit organisation that trains some of the most deprived members of society to become web developers and helps them to find work in the tech industry.

CYF students are trained in full-stack web development by volunteers from the tech industry, putting a strong emphasis on collaboration and product development through tech projects.

CYF graduates work in companies like FT, BBC, STV, Ticketmaster and startups like Adzuna, Sensible Object, tlr and WeGotPop.

CYF are currently looking for EDU Teaching Assistants. Our classes are very interactive, which means that students will spend much of their time doing activities. Teaching Assistants are volunteers who are knowledgeable about the subject and support them during these activities.

CYF classes are held on Saturdays. The commitment of this role is approximately 5 hours per week, which includes some planning during the week and attending parts of the Saturday class.
