Education Buddies The Buddy is the first point of contact for technical mentorship. For many trainees you will be the first developer they will ever work closely with. You will build a close, supportive team with your trainees and model code review, accountability, time management and professional behavior. - Attend regular meetings with your Buddy group (3-4 trainees).- Have one-to-one or group catch-ups with trainees to see how they progressing- Facilitate access to resources, including mentoring support, online study resources and access to study groups or peer learning.- Empower our trainees in their own learning.- Support your trainees with coursework and engage deeply with their code review.About you:You want to use your skills to make a positive social impact by teaching others about your field.You have weekly availability of 2-3 hours (flexible hours) to dedicate to this programme for 6-8 months.Knowledge in any of the following languages: SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, SQL, and MongoDB.You possess accountability, time management and professional skills. Our work helps to increase diversity in the tech industry with 70 percent of our students going onto further education or successful careers in tech.
