About St John Ambulance:

If you're looking for a flexible volunteering opportunity that makes a difference and helps to save lives, becoming a Volunteer Community Fundraiser for St John Ambulance could be right for you!

St John Ambulance responds to health emergencies, supports communities and saves lives. Our clinical expertise and the skills of St John people make us unique.

Each year we train over 400,000 adults and young people in first aid, giving them the competence and confidence to step up, give support and save lives. Our volunteers provide first aid within their communities, such as by keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS.

About the Volunteer Community Fundraiser role:

The great thing about the Volunteer Community Fundraiser role is that there are many different ways you can get involved and there's no minimum or maximum time commitment .

Ways you could support our vital work is to:

- Organise your own fundraising events in your community such as a quiz night or bake sale
- Join one of our bucket collections across the country
- Give talks about St John to local groups in your community
- Start a fundraising group, hosting coffee mornings etc in your community
- Distribute static collection tins in your local area in coffee shops, pubs etc
- and more!
