Jigsaw Events, a registered charity is looking to recruit a coordinator with experience of working with people with a learning disability, and excellent community development skills to join our team.

Ensuring that people with a learning disability are at the heart of the charity, you will be responsible for both day to day running of the organisation and strategic growth. You will develop and co-ordinate a range of social and leisure opportunities to include a monthly drop-in session, regular activities, and a one-off taster event for people with a learning disability.

Key Requirements: Experience of community development work, experience of working with people with a learning disability and ability to implement current approaches in supporting people with a learning disability to live full and safe lives in the community.

Based at: Jigsaw office and various community venues in Sandwell
Office base is 295/6 Long Lane, Halesowen B62 9LB
Days and hours – approx. 18 hours per week worked flexibly
Interview date – Tuesday 18th October 2022
Start date – November 2022 or as soon as available
Fixed term to end of March 2025 when the current grant funding ends. Post may be extended if additional funding is found.
Responsible to – the Jigsaw board of trustees
Responsible for - the administrator and admin assistant (both part time and in post)
Pay – £32k pa pro-rata
