Volunteer Retail Assistant
The charity hub supports the hospital charity by raising money through the sale of items as well as being a point of contact to receive charitable donations. We are looking for volunteers who are happy to work in a shop style environment where the main customers are patients, visitors to the hospital and hospital staff. Tasks involve taking payments for items (cash and card), taking donations (receipting etc), stock control, registering our pets in-hospital volunteers at the beginning of their hospital visit and dealing with general enquiries. Volunteers are expected to go through the hospital volunteering programme and full training will be given.
