HIGHLIGHTS

  • The enormous satisfaction of helping the disadvantaged.
  • Gain insight into community education in a developing nation
  • Gain new skills, increased confidence, independence, improved cultural understanding, personal and professional development.
  • Learn about Vietnamese culture.
  • And best of all, new friends sharing an unforgettable experience!

English has become an important subject at the school in Vietnam. At Hong Nhung Kindergarten school, there are around 100 kids aged from 4 to 6 years old. They are from disadvantaged families in Da Nang city. The parents can not afford to hire an English teacher to train English for their children. With the hope to fill this gap, Volunteer Vietnam is seeking international volunteers to come and help us with an English teaching program for these children.

Volunteers will work together with Volunteer Vietnam staff to delivery a basic English teaching program with the focus on vocabularies, simple phrases and sentences. Our staff have made a program ready for you to teach. This includes a teaching curriculum and lesson plans.

Your valued contribution to the program will give the children an opportunity to enter into the English learning at a young age and create their confidence in learning English in the future.

  • Visiting the city centre’s many beautiful sites, including the Dragon Bridge which breathes fire on weekend nights
