The Matt Kendall Foundation was set up in 2015 by our founder, Matt Kendall, shortly before he died from cancer aged just 35. He set up The Foundation to carry on his work with young people in Birmingham to help them realise their potential.

The charity aims to support 16-25-year-olds living in Birmingham with small grants to enable them to gain employment or training. We have so far supported nearly 100 young people from Birmingham.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for supporting young people in Birmingham to help shape the future direction of the charity by applying to be on the Board of Trustees. Specifically, we are looking for individuals with skills in the areas mentioned below:

  • Treasurer
  • Impact Measurement
  • Marketing and Communications

If you are interested in becoming a trustee for the foundation, please contact James Grinsted on 07707 391476 for an informal conversation, or email him at jmgrinsted[at]hotmail[dot]com and he will contact you.
