Community Integration Project Transition Worker Women Acting in Todays Society (WAITS) is a multi-award-winning charity based in Birmingham; we run three key services to support women effected by domestic abuse, homelessness, and offending. We are currently seeking a Community Integration Project Transition Worker – Full time – job share would be considered.WAITS aims to empower Black Asian and Minority Ethnic women by supporting them through domestic abuse and violence into safe accommodation. The post will be based in the WAITS Birmingham Covid-safe office with temporary remote working arrangements available due to Covid-19.Previous experience of directly supporting vulnerable adults and an understanding of the dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse is essential.
