To plan and implement a high quality drop-in support service within Solihull for women affected by domestic violence.

Support Work:
• To provide practical and emotional support and advocacy for women attending drop-in services at community locations within Solihull.
• To carry out follow up work resulting from the drop-in sessions including correspondence and provision of further information to women.
• To recognise women’s and children’s individual needs and refer to specialist agencies where necessary
• To complete accurate records of support work
• To work with BSWA staff to develop appropriate services for women and children.
• To work within the monitoring and evaluation procedures for the project.
• To facilitate access to BSWA and its services.
• To facilitate access for women to both statutory and community services.
• To devise and implement appropriate methods of communication with women, in agreement with your line manager.
