Essential: Ability to speak one South Asian Language
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Fixed Term until end of July 2023
Full time: 37.5 per week

Key Purpose of Job:

  • To work with children and young people aged 0-18 who have experienced/witnessed domestic abuse.
  • Designing and delivering creative activities that make a difference to the lives of children and young people through age-specific support, play and educational activities.
  • Identify support needs of every child and young person and work alongside support workers in the refuge
  • Work in line with Children in Need principles, Every Child Matters and Early Foundation stage statutory framework to reduce isolation, improve relationships with peers and improve social skills.
  • The ability to work occasional evening/weekend work will be required.
