As a result of retirement, we would like to appoint a new Chief Executive to lead our team of employees, support our Board and manage our wider networks.

Would you like to be the Public Health Register’s strategic leader, overseeing standards of competence in public health practice and the development of this important workforce?

Are you highly motivated, self-disciplined, calm under pressure and can organise your thoughts and time over policy development, strategic leadership and people management?

Are you up for fresh challenges as part of a small but dedicated team whose focus is public protection and whose ethos is high-quality services by ourselves and by our registrants?

If you can answer “yes” to these questions , we would welcome your application for appointment to the post of Chief Executive. It offers a competitive salary, employer contribution to pension, reimbursement of all reasonable expenses and support for your Continuing Professional Development.

Our working assumption has been that we will appoint a Chief Executive who will be a full-time employee of UKPHR. However, we are committed to innovation as well as diversity and equality and will be open to flexible alternative arrangements such as less than full-time, job-share, co-working or similar. Our top concern is UKPHR’s future success and sustainability.

Closing Date: Monday 30 November 2020
