Free coaching conversation support for not-for-profits / charities and discounted management training

Cape is an innovative training programme that supports people managers to learn, share, grow and ultimately develop the self-belief needed in their roles.

Naomi Regan and Lynsey Kitching, the founders of CAPE want to help as many people as possible to develop confidence early on in their management careers. They have designed a programme with the first six months support focusing on developing the mindset and tools for managing others, and great coaching conversation skills. The second six months of the programme focuses on the participants taking what they’ve learnt into to their workplace and also coaching individuals outside of their organisation who would benefit from and might not have access to opportunities to build confidence and belief in themselves.

CAPE are looking for charities or not for profits to help them connect their participants with individuals who would welcome the opportunity to have some impactful coaching style conversations typically about career opportunities, employment challenges and performance at work. The 3-4 coaching conversations will take place online or by phone as our participants come from across the UK and in some instances from around the world, but there may be opportunities in the future for this to take place face to face too.

The ideal individual being coached will be;
- Either an employee, volunteer, or service user of a charity
- Not in an established career path, or going through career change or with significant challenges in their role.
- Has limited access to other coaching or mentoring support

Benefits for the organisation connecting individuals;
• Additional people resource to support their goals/mission.
• Positive role models for their service users or employees and volunteers.
• Coaching/mentoring support to build their service user’s and/or employee’s self-belief and confidence.
• Outcome focused to align with your goals - working towards clear goals and action plans.
• Visibility for the organisation through CAPE’s network and marketing.

CAPE also offer significantly discounted places on their management training programmes for charities if anyone is looking to support and develop their people managers.
