We’re looking for community groups who will work with artists to fill this city with creative work as part of the Birmingham 2022 Cultural Programme. Thanks to the generous support of Birmingham City Council, we’re looking to fund up to 150 different projects, aiming to get at least one in every ward. Each grant will be up to £20,000 but we expect most awards to be around £10,000. There will be two rounds of funding and applications for Round One will close at noon on Thursday 1st July 2021.

Now is the time to be planning your application to the Birmingham 2022 Creative City Grants Programme in partnership with Birmingham City Council. These creative projects can be any artform, but applications must be made by not-for-profit organisations based in Birmingham. By investing it this work we want to raise the profile of excellent quality work that is representative of Birmingham’s incredible diversity.

Even if you’ve never applied for funding before we want to hear from you. Our Grants Manager, Lydia Harrington, is available for questions and to discuss your ideas. To book an individual advice session or find out about networking events and presentations please contact [email protected].
