Background information

Arts All Over The Place are a local charity. We have been providing community arts projects, exhibitions and community engagement events for adults with experience of mental ill-health problems since 2007. AAOTP celebrates the creative talents from people and promotes the value of the arts in mental health recovery. We are very proud of creating meaningful work that makes a difference by providing positive opportunities for many individuals and communities across Birmingham and Solihull.

CALL OUT: for artwork and poems for 'YOU ARE NOT ALONE’ Arts and Mental Health Community festival and exhibition.

We are proud to announce that we will be holding our annual art exhibition and festival from the 6th-10th of October 2021. We are excited as this will be based in the centre of Moseley Village at 'Moseley Hive' (the old Pizza Express on the Alcester Road, B13 8DD). We will have an array of exciting and meaningful health & wellbeing creative workshops, symposiums and entertainment at this free event!

If you have experienced mental ill-health and are creative then we would love to hear from you! Maybe you or a group like to exhibit some art or poetry. We are looking for people from Birmingham and Solihull to showcase their work. We welcome people to submit 1 or 2 pieces of artwork to be showcased at our exhibition. Please note that artwork should be lightweight on card or canvas, the largest size we can accept is A3 -(16.5 x 23.4 inches). Should you wish to be also involved in our digital exhibition, you have the opportunity to showcase 4 additional pieces of artwork/digital media.
