We understand that with cost of living increases squeezing households on low incomes, demand for help from Birmingham's voluntary and community sector is set to keep rising. We are a UK charity and provide a single contact point for companies to donate new consumer goods such as toiletries, cleaning and laundry products, clothes, toys and office supplies to the communities that need them. There are a variety of roles available from learning about rent arrears in our housing department to getting stuck in with our youth programmes. We have sites in Erdington, Aston, Northfield and Coventry, there's never been a better time to volunteer with us. Read more
Team coordinates all the PD support for the course: Develop the strategy for trainee learning and support (overarching goals of removing barriers to trainee’s learning; supporting trainees development of soft skills) PD workshop days (sessions throughout the course designed to develop skills needed in the workplace: communication, teamwork, time management, willingness to learn and get feedback). The education team: teach CYF students how to code in HTML, CSS, Javascript including React, Node, SQL and MongoDB. As a volunteer you will coordinate and teach classes, organize code review and track trainee performance. Read more

Our Year 10 pupils (aged 14 and 15) are looking for local opportunities to volunteer and learn about how different organisations are run. This helps develop their confidence and employability skills required for future employment. This is for 4 days Monday 18th to Thursday 21st July 2022. Read more
An Independent Visitor is a volunteer who befriends and develops a long-term friendship with a young person in care. This can involve helping young people develop new interests, skills and hobbies or going on outings such as to the cinema, bowling or just a walk in the park. The volunteers are called ‘Independent Visitors’ because they are a truly ‘independent’ person outside the care system giving the young person continuity, which is something not always possible with changing carers. Children and their families are invited to come and build (yes, we did say build!) their own arts centre, made from recycled wood and their own imaginations! Working together with constructive play experts Woodland Tribe CIC, children will be given hammers, saws, nails, and freedom to create an extraordinary woodland arts centre, a space designed to let their imaginations take them wherever they want to go. Arts All Over The Place are a local charity. We have been providing community arts projects/ exhibitions and community engagement events for adults with mental health problems since 2007.
